BPS offers one-on-one counseling services provided by Dr. Brunacini. Family members and couples are welcome!

Dr. Brunacini is licensed by the AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and has training and experience to work with adults, adolescents and first responders and their loved ones covering trauma, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, gender and sexuality, health and wellness, substance use, sleep, stress and grief.

You may be concerned about PTSD, you maybe having difficulties with your partner, you may be having sleep issues, you may notice your have mood swings or are feeling a lot of negativity and sadness, you may feel burnt out at work – whatever the issue counseling can help. You could be concerned about someone close to you and want to give them a referral or some resources too.

Clinical counseling should always be provided by a licensed professional who completes an intake assessment and explains you rights, confidentiality and the general plan and expectations for your time in counseling sessions. Your counselor will let you know about what to expect and how your treatment is progressing. Sometimes issues can be addressed in a brief period of time, while other problems could take a longer to see improvements.

If you don’t feel like your counselor is a good fit, don’t give up! You don’t have to stay with a provider you don’t like, find another one you feel comfortable with.
